About Coach Carlisle
Through his thirty five years as a coach, Chris watched how some people were able to put their dreams to work and became successful, while others, with similar dreams, took them for granted and then watched them fade away.
Studying the habits of both groups became a constant in his life. The countless hours of writing about this phenomenon along with the sleepless nights began to pay off.
After years and years of study, Coach Carlisle found the keys to this question, which he uses today to open the doors between dreams of success and reality.

What did you want to be when you were ten or twelve years old?
These were the times when everything seemed possible, we could dream. As we got older our dreams were derailed by the “cost” of accomplishing those dreams, or someone told us that we couldn’t do what we wanted to do.
Chris Carlisle dreamt of winning a Super Bowl championship and on February 2nd, 2014 he accomplished that dream. Even though when he was born his parents were told he would never run like the other children, because of a birth defect. The doctor was partially right, he didn’t run like the other kids, he ran better, earning a college scholarship in football.
Though he was not a player in the Super Bowl victory, Chris was the Head Strength & Conditioning Coach, he accomplished his goal. This wasn’t his first championship in coaching. Coach C is the only coach to have earned a championship ring at every level of organized football. (High School, Junior College, College, and Professional ranks). His ability to motivate players to push themselves is not a lightning strike thing. It happens again and again.

From Coach to Speaker & Author:
On February 3rd in 2014, The Seattle Seahawks had just won Super Bowl 48. Less than twenty-four hours had passed as the team waited on the tarmac, for an opening in a storm that hit New York, instead of reveling in the victory Coach C was putting the final touches to the off-season program that he had been working on during the season. It was February and the off-season program didn’t start until the middle of April.
Climbing to the top of his profession and winning the ultimate championship had not quieted his relentless spirit. Winning championships at every level of football must not have been his true reason for being.
He looked around the plane and noticed coaches, staff and players sleeping off the post-game party or talking and it came to him, what he thought was his life’s end-game was actually a means to an end.
Chris put away his training program and took out one of his trusty notebooks. He began to work through his proven process of obtaining his goals. This system had taken him from a small high school head coach in Nebraska to a World Championship.
As he went through his “internal audit” he actually had been doing what he was meant to do without knowing it. Winning championships was a byproduct of his true calling, that being helping people to achieve their greatest dreams. As the plane landed in Seattle Chris had his game plan made and began the transition to an author and a full-time motivational speaker.
Leave it to Chris to accomplish his goals. His book, Move or Die: Creating a Game Plan from Stuck to Significant, broke his publisher’s presale records and is on 6 bestseller lists, and his speaking calendar is booked out months in advance.
